Introduce your junior into the thriving social community here at Merrist Wood, with our Golfmark accredited academy. With top of the range facilities, your young golfer will be learning from the best, making friends, and developing their understanding of the core values of golf. We cover everything from etiquette to mental preparation, and pride ourselves on creating a great environment for junior golf, including hosting junior events.
Our term-time sessions for young golfers aged 4-15 run after school and at weekends. Classes are sorted by age group and juniors work through a system of colour-coded ability levels to get them ready to play out on the course.
Run in school holidays, our camps give children more time to practice their skills, and get a realistic idea of what it would be like to play professionally. With half- and full-day options, children play games in the morning session to develop skills, before refining them on the course in the afternoon sessions.
Eagle Camp runs from 9am to 4pm, and is suitable for more experienced players. Eagle Camp gives children the chance to put their learned skills into practice in the setting of a game before they move up to playing on the course.
This camp is for young golfers who aren’t very experienced, to help them pick up and develop their foundational skills before they move up to Eagle camp. Half-day, 9am to 12pm

“The holiday club was the perfect place for our two children. Despite being different ages, there was something for each of them. They made some new friends along the way, which in turn meant that we did too! My husband has also been inspired to take up lessons.” – LC
